Global Teachers Bank is a professional network for the education community. These guidelines help keep the platform safe, trustworthy and useful for educators and schools alike.
1. Be respectful
- Treat every member of the education community with respect. Discriminatory, harassing, abusive or hateful behaviour is not tolerated.
2. No discrimination
- Schools must comply with applicable equal-opportunity laws. Job postings must not discriminate on the basis of caste, religion, gender, disability, age or any other protected characteristic.
3. Keep information accurate
- Profiles, job postings and organization details must be truthful and current. Do not impersonate others or post misleading information.
4. No spam or recruitment abuse
- Do not send unsolicited mass messages, post irrelevant content, or use the platform to scrape or harvest member data. Recruiting must happen through proper channels on Global Teachers Bank.
5. Protect privacy
- Do not share another person’s contact details or personal information without their consent. Resume and contact information are only visible to the profile owner and administrators.
6. Report violations
- If you see content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines, report it to the admin team. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts as needed.
